Our story
Pioneer in slatted panels
Barreto was founded in 1980 by Mr. Paulo Barreto and is a pioneer in the industrialization of doors and wood finishes throughout Brazil's Central-West region.
Today it is an industry benchmark, delivering top-quality products to 11 countries in the Americas and Europe, with distribution in Florida (USA) and products available for the American market.
Our panels are in artists' homes and have already appeared on Discovery's show Irmãos à Obra.
Our products serve homes, offices, restaurants, storefronts and facades. We have the structure for any demand and technical support throughout Brazil.

Founded in Goiânia
Paulo Barreto founds the company and industrializes doors and wood finishes, a pioneer in the Central-West.

Expo Revestir and Casa Cor Bolivia
Debut at the largest coverings trade show in Latin America and a space at Casa Cor Bolivia.

Two booths in the same year, with creators and architects showing the installation live.

CasaCor Brasília
Espaço Encontro, at Mané Garrincha stadium, designed with Barreto panels.

Barreto plants: 20 alqueires (a Brazilian land unit) with about 20 thousand trees, an area equivalent to more than 135 official soccer fields. In solid wood, only legal wood with DOF; in MDF, FSC certification.

We are not a reseller of imported panels. The slats, spacers, StickTech boards and ceilings are born at our plant in central Brazil, with high-grade raw material and control of every step.

How a panel is born

Board
FSC-certified Premium MDF or solid wood (teak, cumaru, tauari), depending on the line.

Cutting
The boards become slats and spacers sized for each model.
- 3
Coating
The slat receives the finish matching the leading boards on the market.
- 4
Profile
The profiling machine gives the shape: straight, rounded, with groove or relief.
- 5
Assembly and box
Slats and spacers go into the box ready to snap together, or onto the StickTech board with adhesive film.

Inspection
Every order is checked before it ships. 5 years of warranty against manufacturing defects.
