How much does a slatted ceiling cost per meter?
The price per meter changes with the material (MDF or solid wood: cumaru, tauari or teak), the model and slat width, the color, the area, the cutouts for lights and air conditioning, and shipping to your city. The calculator on the site works out your ceiling, and the quote comes with the lead time.
Slatted ceiling or paneling: what's the difference?
Paneling is a smooth board, fitted side by side. The slatted ceiling has slats with shadow between them, which give the ceiling rhythm and depth and help with acoustic comfort. Barreto makes both effects: the slatted ceiling and the smooth one (Lisse and Vinci).
Can the slatted ceiling be curved or have lighting?
Yes. The ceiling follows curves and arches and takes LED profiles, light slots and cutouts for light fixtures, sprinklers and air conditioning.
Can a slatted ceiling go outdoors?
In covered outdoor areas (porch, eaves, covered pool), yes, in MDF or solid wood. In uncovered areas, only solid teak or solid cumaru ceilings.
Who installs the ceiling?
Barreto has its own ceiling installation team. The ceiling is modular and comes with the ceiling trim for the finishing.
